About
The Temprite brand has long been an innovator in the HVAC industry, offering a wide range of products for commercial and industrial applications. With years of design, research and development, the Temprite brand offers its service-oriented expertise and reliability to ensure the high-quality standards that architects, engineers, building owners, and plant managers have come to rely on. Temprite manufactures air handlers with electric heat or natural gas heat. Natural gas systems can be direct or indirect and comply with all ANSI, CSA, and ETL safety standards. Cooling coils can be specified in many cases. Systems are available with up to 100.000 cfm of air handling. In addition, Temprite “air turnover” products have been providing uniquely efficient HVAC solutions to very large/very tall buildings for over 25 years. Air turnover units are also available with electric or natural gas heat and DX or ChW cooling coils. Air turnover fans can provide up to 81,000 cfm. DDC controls are available.
Case Studies
Industrial Grade Equipment
“Temprite indirect gas heating products have been in production since 1963. The unique “diamond” shaped heat exchanger reduces air resistance across the heat exchanger, as well as minimizing hot spots. Unit cabinets can be painted in traditional “Temprite Gray” or left as unpainted galvanized steel. Fan selections include Forward curved centrifugal, Backward inclined centrifugal, or multi-fan array.
Coca Cola
The Coca Cola Bottling Company plant outside of Toronto, Canada has been producing Coca Cola branded products since the late 1900’s. Temprite manufactured an assortment of products for this large facility. Portions of the production area are heated using Temprite TMC rooftop units. TMC units have air handlng capacities up to 100,000 cfm. Coca Cola also required Temprite Air Turnover equipment in their high bay warehousing spaces. Temprite TAA units were selected due to the very efficient “air turnover” type of air distribution that takes advantage of stratification and produces even air temperatures in the occupied zone.
Canadian Tire
Canadian Tire is a nationwide chain of retailers that is a household word in Canada. When Canadian Tire chose to standardize their store design they worked with Temprite to provide systems across the country. While cost is always important the most important factor for Canadian Tire...and any retailer...is timely delivery to match their construction schedules. When Canadian Tire started to recycle their floorplans they again came to Temprite to evaluate either continuing with their current rooftop mounted Temprite units or to change the design to use Temprite Air Turnover units for more effective and uniform temperature control.
